The Work Colleges Consortium represents seven distinctive liberal arts colleges that promote the purposeful integration of Work ~ Learning ~ Service. The Work Colleges educate more than 5,000 of the most promising students every year. They attract dedicated individuals from across the nation and 40 foreign countries.
All Member Colleges help students graduate with limited debt; three Member Colleges are tuition-free for qualified students. Every Labor Program is distinctive, but all teach students the critical balance of study, community service and managed work expectations. Most labor positions are limited to 10-15 hours per week and designed to enhance the collegiate experience.
The College links to the right provide comparable profiles for each Member institution with examples of academic degrees, labor assignments and highlights of student life. Each profile also links to the website for each Member College. Additional information is available on Becoming a Work College or Attending a Work College.
